A grassroots community association rooted in Glasgow and Renfrewshire, built for and by women who understand what it means to start again.
My Baby And I is a community association dedicated to empowering women from ethnically diverse backgrounds — particularly new and expectant mothers — across Glasgow and Renfrewshire.
We understand that the journey into motherhood can feel isolating, especially when you're navigating a new country, culture, or language. That's why we created a warm, welcoming space where women can find sisterhood, practical support, and the tools they need to build the life they deserve.
We work in partnership with local councils, employers, charities, and community organisations to make sure our members have access to real opportunities.
Every woman, regardless of background, language or circumstance, belongs here.
We treat every mother with the respect and care she deserves.
We believe in the limitless potential of every woman in our community.
We rise together — no mother is left behind.
Weekly and monthly gatherings where mothers share experiences, advice, and friendship in a safe, culturally sensitive environment.
CV writing, interview preparation, skills workshops and direct employer connections to help women re-enter the workforce with confidence.
Training sessions, mentoring, and personal development programmes designed to help women recognise and unlock their own strengths.
Cultural celebrations, family days, and community gatherings that reduce isolation and build lasting bonds across our diverse membership.
Working with Clothed in Love Paisley, we provide donated clothing and essentials to mothers and babies who need them most.
Helping members navigate healthcare, housing, benefits, childcare and other vital services — ensuring no one falls through the cracks.
